Getting started
What is a circle?
A circle is a private group for a gift exchange. You can create one for friends, family or teammates and invite people to take part.
What does the host need to organize?
The host starts the circle and helps coordinate participation. SantaPool provides invitations, gifting preferences and a private draw experience.
Can I add participants manually?
Yes. The circle experience supports manual participant entry. Import is optional where the app offers it.
Matching and privacy
Who can see gift assignments?
After the draw, eligible participants can access their own matches. Hosts do not automatically receive a complete list of everyone’s assignments.
Can the host see every match?
The organizer can coordinate the exchange but does not automatically receive a private assignment map for the whole circle.
What if someone needs to change their participation?
The organizer should review the circle’s current participation and readiness options before running the draw. Available actions depend on the current exchange state.
Invitations and access
Can an invited person sign up?
Yes. Invitations can lead invited people through the existing login or registration flow. Always use your invitation link to preserve its context.
How many people can join for free?
The small-circle pilot supports up to five people including the host. Larger circles depend on actual entitlements and available voucher rules.
How much does SantaPool cost?
